Here’s a robotic machine you’d not like to meet in a dark alley. Or a well-lit one, for that matter. This is a prototype exoskeleton being developed by Raytheon-Sarcos for a variety of industrial and military uses. To really get a sense of how scary this thing looks, check out this news report, starting at the 0:15 mark:  In a way, though, this contraption does remind me a bit of the power lifter from the film Aliens. So if this thing can help us fight off acid-bleeding killer aliens then I guess I’m all for it.
