Blame it on Leo
After the robopocalypse as you huddle around a small fire in your cave trying to keep safe from Skynet’s minions, you might think about your plight and be tempted to blame the technocrats who assured the world that “nothing could possibly go wrong” with their new artificial intelligence system. You could fault modern-day roboticists like Heather Knight or all those kids who take part in FIRST robotics for pushing the world gradually towards being dominated by automata. Or you could put the finger on Leonardo da Vinci. He came up with the earliest designs for a robot that we know of back in 1495.

Thanks a lot, Leo.

I misread that. For a second I thought the blame lay with Leonardo DiCaprio.
