A flotilla of sea-going bots called Wave Gliders are sailing across the Pacific Ocean to collect all manner of scientific data about our planet. However, I do find myself worrying about the nightmare scenario in which one of these semi-autonomous machines mates with a dolphin and we’re overrun by the dolphin borg.
