A big tip of the hat to the team that built the Opportunity rover. Their little space robot was only supposed to survive for 90 days but here is it 9 yearslater and it is still going strong. If I weren’t so impressed I’d be terrified by the though of unstoppable space robots.

In spite of my deep-seated robophobia, I am pulling hard for Mars Curiosity making a successful landing on August 5.
